#12 BE CONSISTENT For eye patching to be effective, it needs to be done consistantly. Wearing an eye patch for one week and then taking a week off, is not the best way to see progress. Pick a time during the day that works best for you and your child and stick with it. Create a routine and it will soon become a habit. The child might struggle at first but soon eye patching will become as routine as putting on their shoes on before leaving the house.
