Finding an eye patch that is comfortable and fun to wear is the key to successful eye patching therapy.  Patching doesn't work if your child refuses to wear the patch.  This combination of eye glasses and eye patch seem to do the trick.  Happy Patcher!

It's very hard to put an eye patch on a little baby.  Unfortunately, their delicate skin can react to the adhesive eye patches and they may develop a rash.  Our Baby Poggle Patches work well covering their eye.  Putting it on and keeping them entertained for 10 -15 minutes at a time is a good way to start an eye patching treatment.  Patience and consistency is the key.

This little sweetie is on Day 2 of patching.  Day 1 was full of tears, but Mom went out and got lots of activities to do while she wore her eye patch.  Now she is excited to start day 3.  Keeping busy and trying new things while patching can shift the focus off of wearing the patch to experiencing new and exciting things.  Well done mom, well done!  #patchpower
